What do we do?

We manage the day-to-day operational needs of our clients. VBS includes network administration, technical support, and consultative services that will continue to drive business growth. We operate a 24×7 365 days a year help desk with a security operations center that manages our client’s networks. Our standard support hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM nationwide throughout the United States.

How do we do it?

We operate a helpdesk with seasoned IT professionals who field support tickets submitted via email, through our automated systems, or via phone call to our toll-free support line at 888-482-7249. Our client’s computer networks and systems have agents deployed within their respective organizations that report back to our security operations center, which manages the updating and maintenance of these environments. When an issue arises, we initiate a ticket, and one of our team members goes to work on the problem. The remote support agents also manage the updating and maintenance tasks to keep devices up-to-date and patched accordingly. Our service covers computers, routers, switches, printers, and just about any device that is on the network, including network devices and appliances. We manage both Windows and Apple devices and networks. Whether it’s wired or wireless, we’ve got you covered. Some service providers only service a specific vertical or industry, while others service a geographical territory or region. Our multi-versed team has experience within so many diverse organizations that the one common factor we found with all the organizations we support is that they’re privately held, with an average of 75 users or less, and use domain-based email services. Whether you’re running Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, we have you covered. We can support your organization if you have a single location or multiple sites that span the United States.

Carlos is a strong proponent of good and charitable causes. He served with the United States Marine Corps for 8-years and participated in Operation Desert Storm / Desert Shield during the first Gulf War. A Martial Arts student since 1980, Carlos holds a 5th Degree Black Belt with the World Seido Karate Organization. He’s an active blood donor and Gallon Club card-carrying member who organizes community blood drives throughout the year in his spare time. He has been in the technology industry for over 35 years and has extensive experience in the corporate sector. Carlos has worked for and supported organizations such as American Express, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Lever Brothers, and TIME, Inc., to name a few. A former IBM ’r, he has worked for several VARs and Systems Integrators before venturing independently. He has been working for himself since 2002, first under Innovated Solutions Group and then, in 2008, when he merged with his longtime friend, Trekkie, and fellow Veteran, Warren Campbell, to form a new type of technology company.

One that values its team members as much as their clients. A company that leverages the investments of the past, coupled with what’s needed to support an organization’s growth, is dedicated to helping small business owners grow and compete with larger organizations. Carlos is married to his wife Paola and has two daughters, Caroline and Luna. He is passionate about life and enjoys traveling, water sports, and baseball. A sports fan for sure who can enjoy a cold beer while watching just about any game: he recognizes that to play hard, one must work hard. However, equally important is to work smarter and maintain an OPEN mind, be flexible to adapt to the times, and adjust accordingly as the situation changes and the landscape evolves.
This is why Carlos keeps abreast with the latest in technology changes and advancements by attending industry events regularly. He is a fixture within the Channel and has established strategic partnerships with vendors and distributors alike, thus enabling the VBS team to offer the best-in-breed products and solutions at competitive pricing. He believes an organization’s success is tied to its efficiency. This drive for efficiency and minimizing the cost to our clients is what motivates him daily.

After serving 8 years in the United States Marine Corps, Warren entered the private sector founding several IT related businesses. Embracing the Star Trek ethos Warren currently serves as the Chief Science Officer at Vulcan Business Solutions. His passion for travel, fueled and supported by Information Technology has led Warren to take up residency in the Eastern Caribbean where he remotely, but firmly, mans his station at the helm of VBS.

Married with 2 children, Warren constantly seeks to strike that elusive work life balance.
